Professional Development

The State of New York has developed continuing education requirements for all certified public accountants in New York State. The General Accounting Office (GAO) has also established continuing education requirements for firms that provide services to the public sector.

Bennett Kielson Storch DeSantis' continuing education program is designed to exceed the requirements of both New York State and the GAO. Each of our professionals receive a minimum of 120 hours of education over a three year period, with a minimum of 24 hours each year. Our continuing education program includes seminars provided by various professional organizations, supplemented with in-house programs in which we retain experts in a specific industry or area, as well as utilizing the talents of our own professionals.
